TERMS & CONDITIONS

It is the customers' responsibility to read through the following Terms & Conditions.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

ORDERING, CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Cake orders are to be placed at least 1 week in advance or based on availability. Dessert table/Event orders are to be placed at least 3 weeks in advance or based on availability.
Orders are only confirmed upon receiving full payment, with the exception of 3 tiered cakes and dessert tables (50% deposit required).
1. Ethereal Bakes reserves the right to turn down orders with late payment, last minute notices and any orders that have not been confirmed, despite being in the midst of discussion.
2. Please ensure that you have selected the correct item before you complete the checkout process. Ethereal Bakes will not be held liable in the event where the wrong item is selected.
Any changes made to the order has to be done 1 week before the event date with the exception of dessert tables/events (3 weeks before the event date).
In the event where you have placed an order but the slots are already full, a refund will be made to your original mode of payment.
Last minute changes for orders, designs and change of dates will not be entertained.
For cancellations of orders, you will be refunded in credits, which you can use for further purchases with us. (valid for 2 years from date of issue). Refunds will not be done in cash.
1. For cake orders, full refund in credits will be given for orders with a lead time of more than 1 week. No refunds will be given for orders that are due 1 week or less.
2. For dessert table / event orders, full refund in credits will be given for orders with a lead time of more than 2 weeks. No refunds will be given for orders that are due 2 weeks or less.
Ethereal Bakes reserves the right to accept or reject any order(s).

SELF COLLECTION

Information on the full address for self collections will be released upon full payment and confirmation of order.
Collections are strictly by appointment only. Please collect your order within your allocated time slot.
In the event where there are any last minute changes in collection, please inform us in advance and check on the availability of time slots for your next collection.
1. Uncollected orders will be kept in our studio for arrangements for next day collection. Ethereal Bakes reserves the right to not be held liable for any drop in quality or freshness of the bakes due to the late collection of your order.
2. Orders not collected within 2 days from original date of collection will be discarded and no refunds of any form will be given.
3. Ethereal Bakes reserves the right to not refund any orders not collected should there be any cases.
The person collecting the order is fully responsible for checking that the order specifications of the cake received (inclusive of cake knives, candles,decorations and add-ons) are correct and in good condition. We will not entertain subsequent disputes regarding cake damage, incorrect cake design or missing items that are not raised to us during the time of collection.
Once the cake has been collected, it is deemed as acceptance and we are not held liable for any damage to the cake / bakes thereafter.
All changes to collection date and time must be made at least 5 days before date of collection. Any last minute changes will not be entertained.

DELIVERY

All changes to delivery date, time and location must be made at least 5 days before date of delivery. Any changes otherwise, will not be entertained.
Do note that deliveries come with a risk, we are not liable for delivery or for any damages that have occured during delivery.
All deliveries do not come with set-ups of any kind, including unboxing of the cake.
Please ensure that you are available and contactable during your allocated delivery time slot.
1. The delivery personnel will text / call you upon reaching.
2. In the event should you not be contactable or not at the scene to accept during the time of delivery, our delivery personnel will wait for up to 10 mins. Otherwise the cake will be sent back to our studio. Any subsequent requests for re-delivery is subjected to additional delivery charges and based on availability of the driver.
Ethereal Bakes reserves the right not to be held liable for the conditions of delivered items that were requested to be left at doorsteps, hung on gate or placed at particular spots.
For deliveries to hotels and shopping malls, the cake would have to be strictly collected from the pick up point or main lobby. In the event where you would require for delivery directly to your room or event space, please inform us and we would check against the availability of the delivery personnel. A surcharge of $8 would apply due to parking fees incurred.
The person collecting the order is fully responsible for checking that the order specifications of the cake received (inclusive of cake knives, candles,decorations and add-ons) are correct and in good condition. We will not entertain subsequent disputes regarding cake damage, incorrect cake design or missing items that are not raised to the delivery personnel during the time of collection.
1. If there is any error in cake design/size or any missing items upon receiving the delivery, please call 83182392 immediately for assistance.

CAKE DESIGN AND DECORATIONS

All cakes with fresh flowers/fruits may vary in size, color and species as they depend on seasonal availability. All images shown are for sample purposes only.
Flowers, fresh fruits and toppings placement and arrangement may vary slightly due to cake dimensions, and also for practical and aesthetic purposes.
We are not able to guarantee an exact replication of a cake design as slight variation in color and appearance might occur.
1. Do note we do not offer a 100% replica in the event where you provide us with pictures to replicate. Every baker has their own style and the results might not be the same.
Do note that all weights, recommended servings and sizes are approximations and suggestions only.
Please note that most flowers and fondant figurines (otherwise stated) on our cakes are non-edible and for decoration purposes only. Thus, please remove them prior to consumption. We are not held liable for any discomfort or health issues that might occur due to the consumption of said items.

CAKE CARE AND STORAGE

For all fresh cream cakes: Please refrigerate until just before serving.
For Buttercream cakes:
1. Please take the cake out at least 1 hour before cake cutting to ensure a soft and fluffy cake. Do let the cake defrost in the cake box itself in the event
2. where you have to defrost the cake in a non-air con room. Our buttercream cakes taste best at room temperature.
3. The cake can be left in a cold air-con room for up to 4 hours (dependent on ambient room temperature). Any longer will require refrigeration of the cake.
All our cakes are delivered cold and straight out from the fridge. So do factor in the time of your event accordingly for the cake collection/delivery accordingly.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check whether the venue has proper storage available for the cake. If you need extra information with regards to the dimensions of the box or any other details to ensure proper cake storage, please do contact us for assistance. Ethereal Bakes will not be responsible if the venue does not have proper conditions for the storage of the cake or any damages that may occur due to that.
Please remove any fondant figurines and leave them in an air con room before refrigerating the cake. You may place them back on once the cake is out from the fridge.
A standard set containing 1 candle and a cake knife will be provided with every cake purchase.

DESSERT CARE AND STORAGE

Our desserts are best eaten cold, but can be left in an aircon room for up to 3 hours.
With the exception of:

Tiramisu: Best eaten straight out of the fridge.

Cookies: To be kept air tight and at room temperature.
